F.A.
Tech automated brazing and soldering systems have many advanced optional
features for improved process control of the brazing or soldering process.
These features are available for most systems to augment our already
impressive Standard Features.

Advanced Wire Feeding System
|
Advanced Wire Feeding System
Our wire feeding systems utilize special cylinders that allow wire to
be fed directly through the cylinder rod. This system is controlled
by 3 timer settings. First, the "Delay" timer controls how
long after the heating cycle has been initiated before the feeders move
forward. Second, the "Pre-heat" timer controls how long the
wire is forward before actual wire feeding begins thus preheating the
wire. Lastly, the "Feed" timer controls how long the wire
will be fed into the joint. The user can also adjust the speed at which
the wire is being fed to optimize the filling of the joint. In addition
to our conventional wire feeding system, Tech also offers our new "Intelligent
Wire Feeding" system that allows exact control over the amount
of wire being fed into the joint.

Flo-Max
|
Flo-Max
Flo-Max is an air pressure stabilizing system that protects the combustion
system from in-plant air pressure fluctuations that can diminish flame
consistency. This closed-loop system constantly monitors the incoming
air pressure, comparing it to the set point and adjusting an electronic
regulator to compensate. Flo-Max solves the problems associated with
facilities that experience frequent air pressure fluctuations.

Digi-Mix
This advanced combustion mixing system provides precise control over
the gas and air mixture by utilizing advanced electronic components.
All current settings are displayed and can be changed via the operator
interface panel. With Digi-Mix, any changes in the combustion mixture
to support more or fewer torches, as well as the ability to change the
gas/air ratio of the torches can be handled automatically. It also provides
the flexibility to not only change the flame pressure, but also the
gas/air ratio during the heating cycle, offering infinite adjustment
to attain the ideal heating conditions.

IPS System
Our Intelligent Parameter Setup system, or IPS for short, is available
for our CX Shuttle systems. This option provides the ability to braze
a new part with a semiautomatic cycle by simply pushing the start button
at each step of the process, sending the timer information to the PLC.
Upon user acceptance, the displayed parameters are saved into memory,
thus simplifying and removing the guesswork involved with new part setup.

Oxygen Combustion System
|
Oxygen Combustion System
Oxygen combustion systems are typically used for processes requiring
rapid localized heating of the joint area. With this heating method,
faster cycle times are attained compared to a standard compressed air/fuel
gas flame. We have also developed a specialized technique for obtaining
extremely clean parts with the use of Gasflux® in conjunction with
our heating method.
